PC1-1 : Peptide mapping
Test Introduction
Peptide mapping can be used in drug discovery and throughout the manufacturing process for quality control between batches to
produce a unique ‘fingerprint’ of an individual protein and to compare this with the theoretical gene-derived amino acid sequence. Peptide
mapping involves selectively cleaving the individual target protein using an appropriate enzyme and analyzing the peptide fragments
obtained using LC-MS, and is to confirm/compare the structure of target proteins according to the reference protein.
Sample
- Biosimilar
- Biobetter
- Antibody
- Antibody-drug conjugates
- Recombinant protein drug
- Toxin
- vaccine
Analysis Process
- Protease Digestion
- LC-MS, LC-MS/MS
- Peptide Map
- De-novo sequencing
Data interpretation
