PC1-2 : Protein Modification Analysis
Test Introduction
Modifications include formation of disulfide bridges, cleavage of signal peptides and covalent modifications. These changes are not
predictable from the gene sequence. Determination of protein modifications in target proteins is performed by sequencing of different
peptide peaks compared to theoretical protein sequence.
Modification ratio can be also determined by quantitative analysis of modified peptides in target proteins.
Sample
- Biosimilar
- Biobetter
- Antibody
- Antibody-drug conjugates
- Recombinant protein drug
- Toxin
- vaccine
Analysis Process
- Protease Digestion
- LC-MS, LC-MS/MS
- Peptide Map De-novo sequencing
- Quantitative analysis
Data interpretation
