PC2-3 : N-term sequencing using Edman degradation method
Test Introduction
N-terminal sequencing involves a series of chemical reactions that derivatize and remove one amino acid at a time from the N-terminus
of target proteins. Sequence can be determined by confirmation and comparing residue amino acid PTH-amino acid obtained by LC to
standard PTH-amino acids.
Sample
- Biosimilar
- Biobetter
- Antibody
- Antibody-drug conjugates
- Recombinant protein drug
- Toxin
- vaccine
Analysis Process
- PVDF or Purified protein
- Edman reaction
- De-novo sequencing
- Determination of N-terminal sequence
Analysis Result
Edman cycle
